    Thank you for choosing Arizona Tanning! Please read carefully. By signing below, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
  • General Salon Policies

    • Clients must treat all Arizona Tanning staff and fellow guests with respect.
    • Arizona Tanning reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate behaviour, health or safety concerns, or policy violations.
    • All services are non-refundable and non-transferable.
    • Clients are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings. Arizona Tanning is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
    • We reserve the right to ask for proof of identification when using prepaid services or memberships.
    • Please arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals (over 5 minutes) may result in a forfeited appointment time.
    • Only one client is permitted in a tanning room at a time. Guests, children, and animals are not permitted inside tanning rooms during sessions for health, safety, and insurance reasons. (Service animals are permitted in the building but may not enter tanning rooms.)

    UV Tanning Terms & Client Responsibilities

    When using UV tanning services at Arizona Tanning, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    Use Policies:

    • You must be 18 years of age or older to use UV tanning equipment. Proof of age may be required.
    • Protective eyewear must be worn during every UV tanning session. Clients must provide their own eyewear or purchase it from Arizona Tanning. Failure to wear approved eyewear may result in serious, permanent eye injury.
    • Only indoor tanning lotions purchased at Arizona Tanning are permitted for use with tanning equipment to protect the integrity of our equipment.
    • Tanning session times are determined at the discretion of Arizona Tanning staff based on your skin type, tanning history, and other risk factors.
    • Clients may not exceed the tanning session time recommended by staff, even if the equipment allows for a longer session.
    • There must be a minimum of 24 hours between UV tanning sessions. Arizona Tanning reserves the right to refuse service if this guideline is not followed.

    Health Acknowledgements: 

    • UV tanning involves exposure to ultraviolet radiation, which carries inherent risks including, but not limited to, skin damage, eye injury, premature aging, allergic reactions, and increased risk of skin cancer.
    • Certain medications, cosmetics, foods, and medical conditions may increase sensitivity to UV light, including but not limited to:
      • Antibiotics
      • Diuretics
      • Blood pressure medications
      • Tranquilizers
      • Birth control pills
      • Tanning injections (Melanotan)
    • Clients are responsible for disclosing any medications, health conditions, or sensitivities that may affect their tanning experience.

    Spray Tanning Terms & Client Responsibilities

    • Spray tanning solutions contain DHA (dihydroxyacetone), which darkens the skin but does not provide UV protection.
    • Spray tan results can vary based on skin preparation, skin type, and post-tan care. No specific results are guaranteed.
    • It is the client’s responsibility to properly prepare their skin prior to the spray tanning session, including exfoliating and removing any lotions, oils, deodorants, or cosmetics that could interfere with the tanning solution.
    • It is also the client’s responsibility to follow recommended aftercare instructions to maintain and prolong spray tan results, including moisturizing regularly and avoiding activities that may cause premature fading.
    • Arizona Tanning is not responsible for spray tan results impacted by improper skin preparation or aftercare.
    • Protective measures (nose filters, lip balm, eyewear, undergarments) are recommended during spray sessions and are available upon request.
    • Spray tan solutions may temporarily stain garments. Arizona Tanning is not responsible for damage to personal clothing or belongings.

    Red Light Therapy & VibraShape Terms & Client Responsibilities

    When using red light therapy and/or VibraShape at Arizona Tanning, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    Use Policies:

    • You must be 18 years of age or older to use red light therapy and VibraShape services. Proof of age may be required.
    • Red light therapy is a non-UV cosmetic wellness service and does not produce a tan or replace UV tanning services.
    • Clients must follow all staff instructions and recommended usage guidelines based on their goals and experience level.
    • There must be a minimum of 24 hours between red light therapy sessions. Arizona Tanning reserves the right to refuse service if this guideline is not followed.
    • Clients must use the equipment as instructed and may not exceed recommended session guidelines.
    • VibraShape involves physical movement and muscular activation. Clients must use the platform safely and as directed by staff.

    Health Acknowledgements: 

    • Red light therapy and vibration use involve inherent risks including, but not limited to, dizziness, lightheadedness, skin sensitivity, irritation, nausea, temporary changes in blood pressure, and muscle fatigue or discomfort.
    • Certain medical conditions, medications, or sensitivities may increase risk when using red light therapy or vibration equipment, including but not limited to:
      • Pregnancy
      • Epilepsy or seizure disorders
      • Light-sensitive conditions or medications
      • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
      • Pacemaker or serious cardiac conditions
      • Recent surgery, open wounds, or acute injury
      • Retinal detachment
      • Severe osteoporosis
    • Clients with cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, implants (including metal implants or IUDs), tumours, arthritis, or other health concerns should consult a healthcare provider before use.
    • Clients are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, medications, or sensitivities that may affect their ability to safely use this service.
    • Clients agree to stop the session immediately and notify staff if they experience dizziness, discomfort, or any unusual symptoms.
    • Arizona Tanning staff are not medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice or assess individual health conditions.

    Health and Safety Disclosures

    • Clients with respiratory issues (such as asthma), diabetes, skin conditions, or other health concerns should consult a healthcare provider before using UV or spray tanning services.
    • Clients are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or sensitivities that could impact the safety or outcome of tanning services.
    • Clients assume full responsibility for their own health and safety during and after services.

    Release of Liability

    • I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of Arizona Tanning's facilities, equipment, and products.
    • I release, waive, and discharge Arizona Tanning Inc., its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, or expenses related to tanning services, including but not limited to personal injury, allergic reaction, illness, or property damage.
    • I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arizona Tanning and its affiliates against any claims arising from my participation in tanning services.

    Agreement Updates

    • Arizona Tanning reserves the right to update, modify, or amend this Client Waiver and Release of Liability at any time.
    • Continued use of Arizona Tanning services after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

    Client Acknowledgment

    By signing below, I confirm that:

    • I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the Arizona Tanning policies and waiver terms outlined above.
    • I accept full responsibility for any health risks or adverse effects associated with tanning services.
    • I understand that Arizona Tanning makes no guarantees regarding tanning results.
    • I understand that all services and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
    • I agree to follow all salon policies, staff instructions, and safety guidelines at all times.
