Morning Snack Policy Please be aware that the Vinny the Fly Creative Leadership Camp operates on a "Bring Your Own Snack" policy. Since camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we ask parents to provide a simple morning snack for their child.

⚠️ Peanut-Free Zone: To ensure the safety of all our leaders, we strictly request that you do not pack any snacks containing peanuts. Your cooperation helps us keep our "Team Practices" safe and inclusive for everyone.

  • Behavior Policy

    The Leadership Mindset: Behavior Expectations
At the Vinny the Fly Creative Leadership Camp, our mission is to provide a "practice ground" for character and confidence. We believe every child is a leader-in-training, and we anticipate all attendees will:

Lead with Kindness: Use their voice to encourage others and treat peers and staff with genuine respect.

Carry Their Part: Stay engaged in "Team Practices," follow the guidance of our mentors, and take responsibility for their role in the group.

Foster Courage: Maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude that helps create a supportive environment for everyone.

Honor the Space: Value the camp resources and the personal property of their fellow leaders.

    Behaviors That Hinder the Team
To protect the safety and growth of all campers, the following behaviors are considered inconsistent with our leadership goals:

    • Bullying, ridiculing, or intimidating others.
    • Physically aggressive acts or confrontations.
    • Persistent defiance or disruption that prevents the team from moving forward.
    • Intentional damage to camp amenities or the property of others.

    Our Approach to Support
When a child struggles to meet these expectations, we see it as an opportunity for growth and "heart-level" coaching. Our team will take the following steps:

A Leadership Reminder: A gentle, verbal conversation focused on the "why" behind the behavior.

A "Reset" Moment: A brief pause from the current activity to reflect and prepare to try again.

Parent Partnership: We will contact parents to discuss the concern and work together to support the child’s success.

Removal from Session: In instances of severe misconduct or repeated infractions that affect the safety of the group, parents will be asked to collect their child for the day. (Please note: no refunds are provided for behavioral removals).

  • Medical Information

  • Medical Release and Authorization

As the Parent or Guardian of the specified camper, I hereby empower a competent and licensed medical professional to diagnose and treat in the occurrence of a medical crisis. This applies when, in the judgment of the attending medical professional, immediate intervention is essential to avert further risk to my child's life, severe physical deformity, significant impairment, or to alleviate excessive pain, distress, or discomfort if postponed.

I grant the attending physician the right to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray analysis, and vaccinations for the named camper. If a severe illness, a need for major surgery, or substantial accidental injury arises, I comprehend that every effort will be made by the present physician to swiftly contact me. This authorization applies only after making a genuine attempt to reach me.

I also bestow permission to Vinny the Fly Creative Leadership Camp, its parent organization The Innovative Mind Lab, and its partners, encompassing staff and mentors, to administer the essential emergency aid before the child's admission to a medical facility.

This consent is sanctioned for the dates and/or duration of the registered camp session.

This approval is provided willingly, solely aiming to authorize medical aid in urgent scenarios, to safeguard the well-being and physical integrity of the aforementioned minor, in my absence.
