The Baltic Pitching Forum is a leading short film industry event in the Baltics, showcasing the newest short film projects from the region and the Guest Country, which this year is Italy.
The 14th edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum will take place on the 6-9th October in Vilnius, Lithuania. Consultations with scriptwriting expert Anna Bielak will take place online during the first week of September.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
- film directors and/or producers who are citizens of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, or Italy, or who have permanent residency in one of these countries;
- in the case of co-production, at least one of the applicants (director or producer) must meet the eligibility requirements outlined above;
- applicants (both director and producer) must have finished at least one short film project.
ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
- fiction, animation or hybrid (documentary projects are not eligible)
- stand-alone short film (TV series projects are not eligible)
- independent film, produced outside of school (student films are not eligible)
- in the early development stage (shooting must start not earlier than 2027)
- up to 30 minutes in length
- aimed at an international audience
- one of the production countries must be Baltic or Italy (only majority co-productions are eligible).
