2026 ARIDO Awards Submission Form

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the data entered within the online
form is factual and accurate. All supporting documentation and photos must be
uploaded at the time of submission.

Projects must have been completed and occupied between January 1, 2024 –
January 1, 2026.

The awards program prohibits design firm employees from appearing in submission photos. Submissions which contain clear images of design firm employees will be flagged and firms will have an opportunity to submit corrected photos if done so by the timeline provided. We recommend you ensure corrected photos prior to submission to ensure for a streamlined and successful submission.

Submissions are only accepted via this online form. Photos, plans, and sketches are uploaded directly on the second page of the form. You may select and attach multiple files at once. To avoid complications, don’t start multiple, concurrent submissions. Finish one; then start another.

Please ensure all the information is correct before submitting as there is no option to edit once you submit the form. 

There will be a MAXIMUM number of entries per design firm as follows:

• 3 entries per category
• 4 entries per year total

$150 + HST (per entry)

Final Entry Deadline: Friday, June 12, 2026 Midnight
$250 + HST (per entry)

Project Submission Contact
This person is the individual preparing and submitting the project information. This could be a designer on the project, an administrator or marketing individual within the firm, or other individual. This person will be the main contact for ARIDO staff on outstanding information, receipts, judging results and, if applicable, awards information.

Design Firm Details

If this project was a joint venture or partnership in co-design, please fill in the following information. Non-members of a joint venture or co-design partnership will not receive an award but are welcome on stage during the awards ceremony and will be credited in the media release.(i.e., ARIDO is pleased to announce Eat + Stay (Restaurants) awarded to Registered Member, John Smith for the Underwood Restaurant in partnership with Jane Doe, of Doe Consulting Inc.)

PLEASE NOTE: For award eligibility purposes, the ARIDO Registered member(s) of the Joint Venture/Co-Design Partnership must have been the lead designer(s) or an equal designer in all respects on the project. The non-member of the Joint Venture/Co-Design Partnership cannot be the lead designer of the project and will not receive an award.

Please list the other members of your project team. Non-members will not receive awards.

Identify how your project supported, addressed or advanced equity, diversity,
accessibility, and inclusion in any of the following areas:

Project design, the design and components of the project:

a. Expanded or enhanced your client’s organizational capacity that supports or serves underrepresented groups. i.e. Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour.
b. Focused on inclusive and universally accessible design that went above and beyond minimum standards.
c. Met the needs of end users with disabilities.
d. Expanded or enhanced your client’s sense of community or access to community for underrepresented or underserved groups.
e. Enabled a diverse business to start or enhance their participation in the marketplace.
f. Enabled the client to become a community leader in the area of advancing equity, diversity, accessibility or inclusion.
g. Advocated for supplier diversity through the specification of services and materials by diverse owned or led businesses.

Project team and/or collaborators included:

a. Diversity on the project team with a focus on Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour, women in leadership or regional representation.
b. Enabled for the mentorship or internship of underrepresented individuals, newcomers or diverse professionals.
c. Engaged in small to medium sized businesses in regions outside the GTA.

I accept full responsibility for the accuracy of the information submitted and confirm that the entry is a true and accurate representation of the submitted project. I certify that the submitted project was executed by the parties credited and meets all eligibility requirements.

I certify that I am in possession of all proper releases and clearances from the client, joint venture partner, other professionals, and photographers for the submitted project, and that the client and all others who had involvement in the project understand and accept that winning credit is to the ARIDO Designated Entrant(s) only.

I confirm that the submitted project was completed and occupied between January 1, 2024 – January 1, 2026.

I certify that this project has not been submitted and judged in a previous year.

I understand that any entry that fails to meet submission requirements may be disqualified.

I understand that all winning entries become the property of ARIDO and will not be returned.

I certify that I have obtained all of the necessary consents relating to photographs and other details submitted, so that ARIDO may reproduce, exhibit, and display these materials throughout the media and for other publicity purposes, as determined by ARIDO.

I understand that ARIDO will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies in the contents of the entry, and I will indemnify and hold harmless ARIDO for any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damages, lawsuits, judgments, to the extent caused by inaccuracies, omissions, and/or misrepresentations in the contents of the entry.
