Bursary & Educational Funding Application

We’re glad you’re here. The Durham Children’s Aid Foundation provides educational funding to help eligible young people pursue post-secondary education, skilled trades, training and other learning opportunities. This application will ask for some information about you, your education or training, and the costs you are seeking support with. You’ll also be asked to provide documentation confirming your enrollment or registration. For full-time studies, funding may be provided up to $500 per semester, to a maximum of $1,000 within a 12-month period, based on eligible costs and available funding. Every application is reviewed individually, and every applicant will receive a response.

Documentation must clearly confirm the student’s full legal name, school or training provider, program or course name, enrollment status, and official start date. Acceptable proof may include a proof of enrollment letter, tuition invoice, course schedule, registration confirmation, or registrar-issued documentation. For short-term programs, screenshots, invoices, or equivalent proof of registration are acceptable. Please note that funding will not be released until all required documentation has been received and verified.
