FESTIVAL AVAILABILITY

The festival kicks off 6pm Friday the 15th of May and finishes 1am Sunday the 17th of May. The Hall requires setup from 12pm on Friday, and both the campsite and hall require cleanup on the Sunday morning (from 11am-1pm).

We would only ask volunteers to attend training from 2pm on Friday and work a 1 x 4 hour shift over the weekend in exchange for a 2 day Festival Pass with camping (including the Metal Ceilidh) - but, of course, you can work as much as you like!

VOLUNTEER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. I agree to turn up to my rostered shifts on time, and to advise the Dùn Rùin Festival staff (ruin.fest@protonmail.com) well in advance if my availability for any shift changes. 
2. I agree to work under the guidance and supervision of Dùn Rùin Festival staff.
3. I agree to turn up to training on Friday the 15th of May (2pm-3pm for Stewards, 3pm-5pm for Bar Staff) so as to be informed of particulars of the role and the venue.
4. I will turn up to my shift 15 minutes before my scheduled shift and I will not turn up to a any shift under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
5. I agree to advise Dùn Rùin Music Festival staff if I am unable, or uncomfortable, to complete any tasks that I have been assigned to. Dùn Rùin Festival staff will be understanding of these requests, please provide staff with as much notice as possible regarding any issues that may arise.
6. I agree to inform a medic, or Layla Sawford (the Safeguarding Lead), immediately of any injuries sustained while undertaking volunteering activities.
7. As a member of the Dùn Rùin Music Festival team, I will do my best to provide correct information, and a positive attitude, to all members of the public I deal with throughout the festival.
8. I agree to work in a constructive and cooperative way with Dùn Rùin staff and comply with any safety procedures as requested.
9. I understand that if I am unable to complete my allocated shifts, I may be asked to return my wristband.
10. I understand that I am volunteering my services to Dùn Rùin Festival and will not receive any remuneration for my services.
11. I will be provided with a festival weekend pass, a camping pitch and breakfast/lunch on the day that I have volunteered to work.
