  • Terms of Service

    Service Conditions And Cancellation of Pre-Bookings

    1. DOG DAY CARE SERVICES - AT YOUR OWN HOME

    Please aim to provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellations for any pre-arranged bookings. Due to the nature of the business, any cancellations received within 2 hours of the arranged booking start time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the service booked.

    If you have regular weekly booked services - Please aim to provide 5 days notice of full cancellation of all future repeat bookings.

    If I cannot attend any pre-booked services for personal reasons or illness, I will always endeavour to provide at least 24 hours notice or advise as soon as possible.

    Under 2 hours notice provided - A 50% discount will be given for the next ‘equivalent’ booking on a different date. Alternatively - If available for certain alternative hours on the same date of the appointment, I may also offer a different time slot on the same day (if this is agreeable with you).

    Payment Terms

    • Payments for a single services in any full week (Mon - Sun) - Due on the day of service
    • Payments for 2+ services in any full week (Mon - Sun) - Due on the final visit of that week

    Payment options:

    Cash & Revolut - On Request (Accepted for - Dog day care services only)

    All major Debit/Credit Cards Accepted + Google Pay & Apple Pay - Payments Accepted Online

    Late Payments: Any due payments that exceed 7 days of due payment date - €5.00 surcharge per service provided per additional full week outstanding.

    Access To Your Home

    You agree to provide safe access to your home (e.g. key, lockbox, or entry instructions). I will always endeavour to take reasonable care to keep your home secure during and after each visit.

    2. DOG BOARDING - AT OUR OWN HOME

    Free cancellation period - Please provide at least 48 hours notice of cancellation for pre-booked dog boarding. Cancellations received with at least 48 hours notice will be fully refunded within 2 days.

    Any cancellations received with less than 48 hours notice of the arranged booking drop off date and drop off time agreed, are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the full booking price. The remaining 50% of your total booking fee will be refunded within 2 days.

    Any cancellations received with less than 8 hours notice of the arranged booking drop off date and drop off time agreed, are subject to a 75% cancellation fee of the full booking price. The remaining 25% of your total booking fee will be refunded within 2 days.

    Any ‘no show’ bookings - The boarding service is deemed cancelled and no refund is payable. If you have not contacted to advise of a late drop off arrival, or you do not arrive within 90 minutes of the agreed drop off time - A 'no show' status applies and no refund is payable. The booking is deemed 'cancelled'.


    If Pawz Pals cancels a pre-booked boarding due to personal circumstances beyond our control, or for health/family reasons, you will receive a full refund within 24 hours. We will always endeavour to provide at least 48 hours notice or advise as soon as possible in advance of your booking date of any change of circumstance.

    Cancellation refund example:

    Booking date - 10.10.26 / Drop Off Time Booked - 5.00pm

    • Cancelled on - 08.10.26 at 3.00pm (Full Refund Due)                
    • Cancelled on - 08.08.26 at 7.00pm (50% Refund Due)

    Payment Terms

    Proviso the 1st night of a booked boarding stay is more than 4 days in advance of the drop off date: 

    • Initial ‘trial’ 1 night boarding service - Payment is due in full within 24 hrs of a confirmed online booking
    • Regular boarding service (1-12 nights) - Payment is due in full within 72 hrs of a confirmed online booking  

    If the 1st night of a booked boarding stay is less than 4 days in advance of the drop off date:

    • Payment is due within 24 hrs of a confirmed online booking

    Payment options:

    All major Debit/Credit Cards Accepted + Google Pay & Apple Pay - Payments Accepted Online

    Late Payments: Any due payments that exceed 24 hrs of the last due payment date and time - The boarding booking service requested may be subject to cancellation.

     

    3. Dogs Safety - All Services

    All walks will be taken on a lead/harness that are provided by you. The aim is to always act in your dogs best interests, safety and avoid any unnecessary risks.

    All food / treats and special diet needs will be provided by you and detailed with instructions on feeding, plus any specific details or instructions for general oral or specific medication needs.

    With boarding at our own home - You should provide your dogs food, treats, bedding, toys and general items that you feel will help your dog to feel comfortable and at home in our own home.

    Any additional items that need to be purchased by ourselves - Reciepts will be kept and charged as an additional cost payable at the end of the boarding duration of stay.

    I will always take reasonable care during any walking, feeding and general minding and companionship whilst looking after your dog or dogs. However, as the owner, it is important to note that you remain responsible for your dog or dogs behaviour and wellbeing.

    Any dog that is taken into our own home for dog boarding, must be registered with a local vet and be covered for the duration of the stay by a valid pet insurance plan.

    By using any Pawz Pals service, you confirm that your dog is safe to be handled, walked, and cared for, and that you have shared any appropriate and relevant information about their health, temperament, or any special needs.

    Whilst every effort will always be made to keep your dog or dogs safe, well and happy during their time with me, either during day care visits or dog minding in our own home, I cannot be held responsible for any incidents outside my control, including illness, injury, unforeseen accidents, or damage caused by your dog, unless due to witnessed and clear negligence on my part.
