Travel & Participation
Estimated Cost: The approximate cost to participate in the All-America City Competition trip to Denver is $2,500 per delegate. This estimate includes airfare, lodging, ground transportation, meals, and registration fees. If the undersigned participant fails to attend the City-sponsored trip, he/she shall reimburse to the City of Riviera Beach, the full amount of $2,500.

Hold Harmless & Liability Waiver
I acknowledge that participation in the All-America City Competition trip to Denver is voluntary. In consideration of being permitted to participate, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of Riviera Beach, its officers, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to my participation in this trip, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

In consideration of my participation as a City-sponsored volunteer, I agree to waive any and all claims and causes of action, now or at any time in the future, which arise from my participation in this activity. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless, the City of Riviera Beach, its officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from, or related to, in any respect, to my participation in this trip, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Level II Background Check Requirement
All applicants selected to participate in the All-America City Competition delegation must successfully complete a Level II background check prior to final approval. Failure to pass the background check will result in removal from consideration. A City of Riviera Beach employee will contact you with next steps, including instructions for completing the background check and any required documentation.

Payments will be accepted only upon approval and confirmation of your selection to the delegation. Do not submit any payment until you receive official instructions from the City.
