  • Winter Camp 2026 - Bonim Ksharim (Building Connections)

    Shalom Parents and Channichim,

We are so excited that you are excited for Winter Camp 2026! Thank you for taking the time to sign up for what is guaranteed to be a phenominal 5-day adventure back home on our very special Onrus campsite.

From the 5th-10th of July for grades 5-8, and 8th-10th of July for our Grades 3s and 4s, Habo Winter Camp will be the place for building connections ("בונים קשרים"), including:

    • making new friends among Cape Townians and Joburgers,
    • connecting with nature and the magical Habo campsite,
    • linking our identities to Jewish / Zionist values,
    • and uniting in the joy of being young!

Winter Camp is a cornerstone of the Habonim Channich's journey, and we are very excited for the Channichim, both new and old, to have the opportunity to experience what will be one of the best seminars this year. For our Garinims and Shtils (grades 4-6), Winter Camp is the perfect opportunity to get to know the campsite and their fellow channies, in preparation for Machaneh at the end of the year.

Our programme has been carefully constructed to foster a space in which all Channies, of all ages, have the opportunity to engage, play, and grow in an environment that prioritises engagement and enjoyment. In a space removed from the day to day (where technology rules and faces are buried in screens) campers, alongside their closest friends and caring Maddies, can explore this unique opportunity to connect, appreciating even the simple days, and the most wonderful moments that turn into irreplacable memories.

Our passionate and committed Maddies have been working hard to plan an incredible and successful seminar where our Channies, your children, will be engaged, happy, healthy, warm, and smiling from ear to ear.

Can’t wait to see you all there!

Aleh V'Hagshem - Rise up and Fulfil
