  • Walk Around Inspection

    Please walk around the equipment and answer the following questions.
  • Any new visible damage?
  • Ability to move from parking space?
  • Puddles under vehicle?
  • Wet or leaking hydraulic lines?
  • Wet or leaking hydraulic cylinders?

  • For the engine hours question below, please subtract: [Engine Hours until Next Service] - [Current Engine Hours] = [Engine Hours Remaining Until Next Service]

  • Fork condition?
  • Rack condition?
  • Outrigger condition?
  • Fire extinguisher present?
  • Fire extinguisher serviceable (in green, with bracket, pin present, all components present)?

  • Under the Hood Inspection

    Please check under the hood and answer the following questions.
  • Oil level?
  • Coolant level?
  • Hydraulic oil level?
  • Battery terminals clear of corrosion?
  • Belt intact and not shredding?
  • Hoses round and consistent in appearance?
  • Hydraulics connectors wet or leaking?
  • Restriction indicators in "green" while engine running?

  • Starting Telehandler Inspection

    Please start the telehandler and answer the following questions.
  • Engine starts up promptly?
  • No adverse noises (e.g. ticking, screeching, grinding)?
  • Full function test?
  • Moves into reverse?
  • Moves into drive?
  • Backup alarm functional?
  • Mirrors adjust for the best view?
  • Any dashboard warning lights?
  • Left turn signals (front AND rear) function?
  • Right turn signals (front AND rear) function?

  • If you are performing the inspection alone, try to check the brake lights through a reflection if possible to answer the next question below.

  • Brake lights function?
  • Strobe light functions?
  • Driving lights function?
  • Windshield washer fluid level?
  • Windshield wipers functions?
  • Seat belt functions?
