Buttercream Bakery Team Member:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented team member to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This role involves assisting with daily bakery production, customer service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frost cupcakes and fill pastry cases with fresh baked goods
- Assist with basic baking tasks and preparation
- Prepare Buttercream and Fillings
- Provide excellent customer service at the front counter
- Take and prepare in-store orders
- Prepare and serve beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front and back of house
- Assist with custom cake orders
- Support and assist during Decorate & Sip classes
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of the bakery
- Previous bakery or food service experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
- Able to quickly adjust to changing priorities
- The ability to carry 25-50 lbs as needed
- Requires standing for extended periods
Pay and Hours:
This is a part-time position averaging 15–20 hours per week. Starting pay is $10.00 per hour, with an increase to $11.00 per hour upon obtaining a Food Manager Certification. Certification costs are covered by the company. Front of House tips will be split based upon hours worked.
