    This project will explore the production of promotional materials - such as showreels and use of social media to promote an actor’s brand – on as small a budget as possible. I will be interviewing agents, casting directors and fellow actors to gain information on showreel expectations and preferences from multiple points of view within the performing industry. I will also be evaluating the socio-economic status of actors in relation to production of promotional materials and its effect on career progression within the performing industry.  

     

    Participant Informations:

    This questionnaire will explore actors' experience with promotional materials with a particular focus on showreels and their affordability. There will be questions about participants' income and money management in relation to promoting their careers as actors/performers/creatives. Please note: participation is voluntary. You may refuse to answer and/or withdraw participation at any point before, during and after your partcipation. 

    All data collected during from this questionnaire will be deleted within 30 days of the submission date.

     

    Your rights:

    All participants have the right to participate and answer as many or as little questions as they choose. 

    All participants have the right to withdraw their participation at any stage without being penalised or disadvantaged in any way nor do they have to give reasons for this. To withdraw during the questionnaire, please simply exit the webpage. To withdraw after submitting the questionnaire, please email the researcher: amy.lockwood@italiacontistudent.co.uk with your unique code (created on the next page) and request your withdrawal from the data set.

    All participants will remain anonymous and will only be identified if they contact the researcher with their unique code (created on the next page).
