Thank you for participating in the Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Parade! The fee for this year is $25 and helps to pay for a portion of the parade expenses that include permit's, insurance and portapotty's. Lineup will be at 11 a.m. behind Cherry Valley Elementary School (9th Avenue West). When we get closer to the event you can expect an email with more detailed instructions for the lineup.
We’d like to make you aware of an important safety requirement:
All parade entries must have “wheel walkers”. These individuals are responsible for helping ensure safety along the parade route by:
* Making sure candy is thrown to the sidewalk, not the curb
* Preventing children or others from running into the path of moving vehicles
* Keep the path wide enough for trailers and large groups
As the event date approaches, we’ll be sending out additional details, including lineup instructions and logistics.
