Retreat Terms & Conditions / Participant Agreement
By registering for a Woman Meets Word retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
All payments, including deposits, are non-refundable after 72 hours of submission. If a participant chooses a payment plan and fails to complete the remaining balance by the specified due date, all prior payments—including the deposit—will be forfeited, and access to the retreat will be revoked.
Participants are solely responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, including flights and transportation to and from the retreat location. Woman Meets Word is not responsible for missed flights, delays, cancellations, or any travel-related disruptions.
This retreat is a drug- and alcohol-free environment. By attending, participants agree to honor and respect this standard. Any violation may result in immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund.
For the safety, privacy, and intentional nature of this experience, no additional or unregistered guests are permitted on the premises at any time.
By attending, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel, group activities, and participation in retreat experiences. Woman Meets Word, its team, partners, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, losses, damages, illnesses, or unforeseen circumstances that may occur before, during, or after the retreat.
Participants are responsible for the care and security of their personal belongings at all times. We strongly encourage keeping valuables secured (e.g., in a locked suitcase or designated safe space) when not in use. Woman Meets Word is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during the retreat.
Participants acknowledge that retreat accommodations may include shared living spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas. By registering, you agree to respect fellow attendees, maintain cleanliness, and uphold a spirit of consideration and community within all shared spaces.
Room selections (including single or shared occupancy) are honored based on availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by Woman Meets Word. All accommodations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the order in which payments are received and completed.
Participants who select shared accommodations understand and agree to be placed with other particpants at the discretion of Woman Meets Word. While every effort will be made to create a comfortable and cohesive environment, specific roommate requests are not guaranteed.
Participants are expected to honor the accommodation type they registered for and may not switch, upgrade, or alter room arrangements without prior approval. Any misuse of assigned spaces or disregard for shared living expectations may result in reassignment or dismissal from the retreat without refund.
Woman Meets Word reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodations, or programming as necessary. In the unlikely event of retreat cancellation by the host, participants will be notified and provided with next steps regarding rescheduling or applicable credits.
By completing your registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.
