Animals may come into the shelter from different backgrounds and can often come in with parasites, infections or with contagious illnesses. While our medical team does their best to identify and treat them upon arrival, it can take multiple treatments to entirely resolve the issue. If you choose to foster, your personal pets at home may be exposed and can become ill. Do you understand and accept this risk associated with fostering?

Fosters often need to administer medicines/dewormers as needed. Are you comfortable and able to do so??

Have you ever fostered for another organization before? For the safety of our cats, we ask that you do not foster for any other organization while housing our cats.

Do you drive or have access to a vehicle to bring your foster in for vaccines or medical appointments?

I agree that if I'm unable to foster the cat(s) anymore that I will return the cat(s) to Karma Kat Rescue and try to give Karma Kat Rescue a 2 week period to try and find another suitable foster for the cat(s).
