Position Summary
The Teller role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values accuracy, and wants to grow in a service-focused financial environment.
This is not a sales position. Our tellers do not have sales goals or quotas—we focus on education, service, and building long-term member relationships.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: Various between the hours of 8:15am and 6:15pm
Rotating Saturdays: 8:45AM – 1:15 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional service to members in the branch
- Process financial transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, payments, etc.)
- Educate members on products and services based on their needs
- Balance cash drawers and follow established procedures
- Support daily branch operations and work collaboratively with the team
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Comfort handling cash and working with numbers
Reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
Banking experience is not required.
We are happy to train candidates with customer service and/or cash-handling experience.
Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work the full posted weekday schedule
- Availability for rotating Saturday mornings (8:45 AM – 1:15 PM)
- Willingness to work at other PECU locations if needed
