From time to time, I capture short photos and video clips of swim lessons to share what typical lessons and sometimes trauma-informed swim instruction looks like, and to help anxious parents around the world feel less alone. Before I include your child in any content, I want your clear, written permission. Thank you for taking a moment to read this carefully and being willing to help others.

WHAT YOU'RE GIVING PERMISSION FOR

By signing below, I grant Heidi McDonald and Swim with Heidi Academy, LLC permission to photograph, video record, and audio record my child during swim lessons, and to use that content for the following purposes:

Social media posts, Reels, and Stories on Instagram (@swimwithheidi), Facebook, TikTok and The Swim with Heidi Academy, LLC website (swimwithheidi.com) and marketing materials Educational content for parents, swim instructors, and aquatic safety advocates Press features, interviews, podcasts, and partnerships related to the business. I understand that once content is shared publicly online, it may be viewed, shared, screenshotted, or downloaded by others, and may remain online indefinitely. I will not receive payment or compensation of any kind for this use.

WHAT HEIDI PROMISES

Your child's safety and dignity always come before any content. The lesson is never paused or shaped for the camera.

First and last names, addresses, school names, or other identifying details will ever be shared.

Content showing distress, crying, or moments that feel vulnerable will not be posted publicly. If you ever want a specific photo or video taken down, email goswimwithheidi@gmail.com and it will be removed promptly.
This permission can be revoked by you at any time, in writing, for content posted from that point forward.

I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child named above, that I am at least 18 years old, and that I have read and understood this release. My electronic signature below has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
