Who can apply for PVAMU NAA Houston Alumni Chapter Scholarship:
High school seniors that are planning to attend Prairie View A & M University and current PVAMU student(s).

Current student (s) must provide Major, Minor if applicable, classification and total credit hours completed and expected graduation date.

Elgibility:

Student must be a Greater Houston Metropolitan Area Resident
Student must be presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) or attending PVAMU during the Fall/Spring semester.
Student must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.75 or above.
This Scholarship is for Undergraduate Students only.

Submit official transcript
Submit an Essay

All packets must be received by the deadline July 10, 2026 by 11:59 CST.

Important Dates: Application portal opens on April 24, 2026, and closes on July 10, 2026, by 11:59 CST.

*Please follow all instructions, as recommended NO exceptions.

If you are awarded a scholarship the following will be required by PVAMU NAA Houston Alumni Chapter: You will receive an Award letter from the chapter.

The High School award recipients must provide a copy of their final transcript.
Incoming College recipients must provide official transcripts.
A copy of the Prairie View A & M University Fee Bill receipt verified enrollment is needed prior to disbursement of award.
To receive the Spring disbursement, a copy of an official transcript must be provided, verifying 2.75 grade point average was met during the Fall semester.

Participation in PVAMU NAA Houston Alumni Annual Scholarship Event.
