Try It, Potters' Wheel

Instructor: Clem Thomas August 15 2026, 12:30pm - 2:30 pm, $50 Curious about pottery but don’t want to commit to a full, 8 week class? “Try It, Potters’ Wheel” is a basic, one time, two hour introduction to wheel throwing. No experience or prior knowledge is required. The fee is $50 and includes clay, hands on instruction and fun with friends and other creative people. Making pottery is a multistep process so there won’t be a finished piece for you to take home, but you will have a fun, learning experience.To prepare for class, wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, trim your fingernails, and tie back long hair. Bring an old towel for wiping your hands and an apron if you like.
