Both the RAPIDO: THE NEXT GENERATION and RAPIDO'S TRACKSIDE COMMUNITY OUTREACH programs are designed to help reduce barriers to entry into the model railroading hobby, while encouraging skill development and participation in it.

Rapido is excited to support both modellers 25 and under and model railroad clubs looking to expand or start their collections, especially with Rapido products.

We believe clubs play a vital role in introducing new hobbyists to the technical and creative aspects of the hobby, while individual young modellers represent the future of the community. Supporting both groups helps strengthen the foundation of the hobby for years to come.

As part of the program:
- Model train clubs are eligible to receive a free 6-pack of Rapido rolling stock to support club layouts and collaborative learning environments
- Individual modellers the age of 25 and under are eligible to receive a free single Rapido boxcar by submitting a photo of their modelling work (or the beginnings of it!)
