For students entering 7th-9th grade

Pine Center for the Arts is excited to be back for another summer of art activities! Registration is for ALL 3 DAYS.

Instructor and artist Peg Skalicky will teach students drawing and painting techniques.

Day one, students will be using charcoal pencils to learn about shading techniques to turn their one dimensional drawings into a 3D effect.
Day two, students will switch to Watercolor pencils. Still learning about shadow and highlights, but watching the picture come to life as water is added.
Day three, students will create an 11x14 canvas acrylic painting. Students will learn which brush to use for each technique and how shadows and highlights can turn something ordinary into something extraordinary.
