    Role Information: Outreach Coordinator

    The Outreach Coordinator will help build sustainable resources for MFBCS programs. This role supports fundraising, donor relationships, and partnerships with individuals, businesses, mosques, and institutions to support families in need.

    • Assist with fundraising booths at mosques and community events.
    • Support outreach initiatives to engage donors and partners.
    • Help prepare and submit basic grant applications.
    • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

    Role Information: Caseworker

    The Caseworker will connect clients with resources that help them become self-reliant. This role supports client growth through education, employment, and community support. Caseworkers also help clients access services in their preferred language when possible.

    • Meet regularly with clients to assess their needs.
    • Conduct and document client needs analyses.
    • Develop and implement individualized action plans.
    • Connect clients with relevant community resources.
    • Conduct follow-up and case closure meetings.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

    Role Information: Administrative Assistant

    The Administrative Assistant will support the Richmond and/or Surrey office. This role works closely with the accountant and team to support daily administrative tasks.

    • Answer phone calls and take messages professionally.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Maintain organized filing systems.
    • Perform scanning, printing, and general administrative tasks.
    • Enter and update data across various platforms.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

    Eligibility Requirements

    To be eligible for this Canada Summer Jobs funded position, applicants must meet the requirements below.

    • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the funded position.
    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or someone who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
    • Have a valid Social Insurance Number.
    • Understand that international students and individuals in Canada on a work, youth, or visitor visa or permit are not eligible.
