**NATIONAL CHEER TEAM TERMS & CONDITIONS**
At **Unyque Jewels of Cypress**, we don’t just cheer—we build confidence, discipline, and leaders on and off the mat. By registering for our National Cheer Team, you agree to the following:

### 1. REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY
* All athletes must complete registration and submit required forms before participation.
* Participants must meet age and skill requirements for their assigned team.
* A parent or legal guardian must register all athletes under 18.

### 2. FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
* National team participation is a **full financial commitment for the entire season**.
* Fees may include, but are not limited to:
* Registration fee
* Monthly tuition
* Uniforms & practice wear
* Competition fees
* Travel expenses
* **All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE**.
* Late payments may result in:
* Removal from practice
* Removal from routines
* Suspension or dismissal from the team

### 3. FUNDRAISING (IF APPLICABLE)
* Fundraising opportunities may be offered but are **not guaranteed to cover full costs**.
* Participation in team fundraisers is strongly encouraged.
* Funds raised are applied to your account but are **non-refundable**.

### 4. ATTENDANCE & COMMITMENT
* This is a **national-level team** requiring dedication and consistency.
* Athletes must attend:
* All practices
* Competitions
* Performances
* Team events
* Practices are **closed to the public**. Only authorized personnel are permitted at practices.
* No recording (video, audio, or live streaming) is allowed during practices without prior approval from staff.
* No drop-ins or visitors are allowed without prior approval from staff.
* Absences must be communicated in advance.
* Excessive absences may result in:
* Removal from routines
* Loss of position
* Dismissal from the team

### 5. TEAM EXPECTATIONS & CONDUCT
* Athletes and parents must maintain a **positive, respectful, and drama-free environment**.
* The following will NOT be tolerated:
* Bullying or harassment
* Disrespect toward coaches, athletes, or staff
* Negative social media behavior involving the team
* We represent **Unyque Jewels of Cypress** at all times—on and off the mat.
* Unauthorized recording, sharing, or distribution of team routines, choreography, music edits, or practice footage is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the team.
#### PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
* Parents/guardians are expected to communicate respectfully with coaches, staff, and other families at all times.
* No sideline coaching, negative comments, or interference during practices or competitions.
* Concerns must be addressed privately and respectfully with staff at appropriate times.
* Parents must support team decisions regarding placements, routines, and participation.
* Parent meetings are **mandatory**. At least **one household member age 18 or older** must attend and represent each cheerleader (applies to both **new and returning parents**).
* Any disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior by a parent/guardian may result in **dismissal of the athlete from the team**.

### 6. UNIFORMS & APPEARANCE
* Athletes must wear the **full official uniform** at all events.
* Hair, makeup, nails, and overall appearance must meet team standards.
* Uniforms must be kept clean and competition-ready at all times.
* Lost or damaged items must be replaced at the parent’s expense.

### 7. TRAVEL & COMPETITIONS
* National competitions may require **out-of-town and overnight travel**.
* Parents/guardians are responsible for travel unless otherwise stated.
* Athletes must follow all team rules during travel and hotel stays.
* Failure to follow travel rules may result in dismissal from the event or team.

### 8. HEALTH & SAFETY
* Cheerleading is a physically demanding sport.
* By registering, you confirm the athlete is physically able to participate.
* By registering, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with cheerleading and **release Unyque Jewels of Cypress (UJOC) and its affiliates from any and all injuries that may occur as a result of participation in the sport**.
* UJOC does **NOT provide or offer insurance coverage** for participants.
* Any injuries must be reported immediately.
* Medical clearance may be required to return after injury.

### 9. MEDIA RELEASE
* You grant **Unyque Jewels of Cypress** permission to use photos/videos of your athlete for:
* Social media
* Marketing
* Promotions
* No compensation will be provided for media use.

### 10. DISMISSAL & WITHDRAWAL
* The program reserves the right to dismiss any athlete or parent for:
* Non-payment
* Poor attendance
* Conduct violations
* Voluntary withdrawal does **NOT** release financial responsibility.

### 11. LIABILITY WAIVER
* You acknowledge the risks associated with cheerleading.
* You agree to release and hold harmless **Unyque Jewels of Cypress**, its staff, and affiliates from any liability related to participation.

### 12. AGREEMENT
