By signing below, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Golden Poppy Bike Ride organized by Lotus Rising LA, and I understand that cycling on public roads involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, falls, collisions with vehicles or other participants, and unpredictable road conditions.
I am voluntarily participating with full knowledge of these risks and assume all responsibility for my participation. I agree to release and hold harmless Lotus Rising LA, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and partners from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
I certify that I am physically fit to participate in this event and that my bicycle is in safe operating condition. I agree to obey all traffic laws and ride safely and respectfully toward others.
I authorize event organizers to seek emergency medical care on my behalf if necessary and understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.
I understand that photographs or videos may be taken during the event and grant permission for my likeness to be used for non-commercial, nonprofit promotional purposes by Lotus Rising LA, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and partners.
I agree to follow all safety guidelines and certify that all riders are physically able to participate. This waiver applies to myself and all additional riders listed above.
