Urban Business Innovation Initiative (UBII) EIR Program
Description
TEDCO is seeking proposals from organizations based in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County to host an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR). Through this program, TEDCO will award $25,000 grants (two per region) to support the placement of experienced entrepreneurs within local organizations. EIRs will serve as on-the-ground connectors—mentoring early-stage companies, strengthening regional innovation pipelines, and linking founders to TEDCO’s statewide programs, funding opportunities, and resources. This initiative is designed to deepen local engagement, accelerate founder readiness, and expand access to entrepreneurial support across both regions.
