This program serves as a funding source of last resort. Applicants must pursue all available insurance claims prior to reimbursement and all claims must be disclosed to DGI
Businesses must submit the grant application within 30 days of the occured incident
Expenses such as overhead costs, routine maintenance, signage, cosmetic improvements unrelated to documented damage, inventory replacement, lost revenue, and improvements going beyond restoring the property to its pre-incident condition are not eligible for grant funding.
