This program provides financial support to help with unforeseen and unexpected situations that occur outside a business's control.

    Based on your answer in this application, it appears that your business is not eligible for this program.

    • Applicants must be a street-level business within the Downtown Greensboro Business Improvement District
    • Business must have fewer than 50 employees
    • This program serves as a funding source of last resort. Applicants must pursue all available insurance claims prior to reimbursement and all claims must be disclosed to DGI
    • Businesses must submit the grant application within 30 days of the occured incident
    • Expenses such as overhead costs, routine maintenance, signage, cosmetic improvements unrelated to documented damage, inventory replacement, lost revenue, and improvements going beyond restoring the property to its pre-incident condition are not eligible for grant funding.
