DESCRIPTION
Families now direct a growing share of philanthropic capital – and are doing so through an expanding range of vehicles including private foundations, donor-advised funds, LLCs, family offices, impact investing platforms, and advocacy-oriented entities. At the same time, advisors working with these families must navigate generational transitions, evolving donor identities (women, next gen, multicultural and values-driven donors), and the overwhelm families face in the many choices in their philanthropy.
This session will help NNCG members better understand the changing family philanthropy landscape, what makes advising families uniquely rewarding and complex, and how to position themselves as trusted guides across wealth, values, governance, and giving strategies.
