  • 2026 Tom Imbordino Memorial Dairy Science Scholarship Program

    Created in 2021, the Tom Imbordino Memorial Dairy Science Scholarship honors the legacy of Tom Imbordino, a founding member of FPSA's Dairy Council and longtime advocate for dairy industry education.
  • Scholarships are awarded annually to students pursuing careers in dairy or food science. This program specifically supports junior and senior undergraduates and graduate students in Dairy and Food Science programs.

    In 2026, we will award two (2) $3,600 scholarships to support students pursuing careers in dairy or food science. One scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student, and one scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student. These non-renewable scholarships can help cover tuition, fees, books, supplies, and required equipment at accredited colleges and universities phisically located in the United States or Canada.

  • Purpose

    This scholarship is meant to encourage and support those interested in pursuing careers within the dairy or food industry, including dairy science, food science, or a related field.
  • Eligibility & Selection

    Applicants must be junior- or senior-level undergraduate students or master's or Ph.D.candidates enrolled in dairy science, food science, or a related field at an accredited university physically located in the United States or Canada.Citizenship is not a selection factor. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic performance, commitment to a career in the dairy or food industry and demonstrated leadership potential.

    Incomplete applications, late submissions or grades may be a cause for disqualification. There will be a selection jury responsible for reviewing and selecting the individual awardees.
