  • Bee TrU, established in October 2013, is an organization outreach program dedicated to educating and empowering the Memphis, TN community and surrounding areas. Founded by a survivor of intimate partners, a social worker, mother, and advocate, the organization is supported by family, friends, and community partners who volunteer their time to provide free education on Intimate Partner Abuse.

Our educational efforts focus on helping individuals identify signs of abuse and understand the dynamics of unhealthy relationships. Bee TrU provides these services by invitation in churches, schools, community organizations, and other settings.

Bee TrU hosts Fundraisers, all of which have been successful, impactful, and instrumental in supporting more than 1,000 people facing a crisis and their families. Since Bee TrU has been able to move forward with its primary goal—developing transitional housing for victims in a crisis.

We are now preparing for the 4th running a stage play written by Mr. Tim Sherrod, scheduled for October 17, 2026, in the Banquet Hall of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church 7280 Stage Rd. This production is designed to both educate and entertain, and we anticipate it will be a significant financial milestone that will help us accelerate our housing development timeline. As you know, safety is essential for victims and Bee TrU is committed to meeting that need.

We are happy that you are reaching out to volunteer for your services. Your support would contribute directly to an event that brings awareness, healing, and hope to our community.
