  • The Equine Therapist of the Year Award recognises an outstanding Practitioner (in each state) who has demonstrated excellence in the delivery of equine therapy services over the past year. This award celebrates a therapist who consistently upholds the highest standards of professionalism, ethical practice, and horse welfare, while making a meaningful impact on the horses, clients and wider equine community they serve. 

    Nominees must be financial and verified Practitioner members of the ETAA.

  • The New Therapist of the Year Award recognises an emerging equine therapy practitioner who has shown exceptional promise, professionalism and dedication in the early stages of their career. This award celebrates a therapist who, despite being relatively new to the industry, demonstrates a strong foundation of knowledge, a commitment to best practice, and a genuine passion for improving equine health and wellbeing. 

    Eligible nominees must be financial and verified Practitioner members of the ETAA, who have been running their business for up to 3 years. 

     

  • The Research and Development award recognises an individual that has made significant contribution to advancing knowledge, innovation, or evidence informed practice within the equine therapies industry. This award celebrates initiatives that strengthen the credibility, effectiveness, and future growth of equine therapies and the impact that these developments have on improving outcomes for the equine community. 

    Nominees must be financial members of the ETAA.

  • The Service to Industry award recognises an individual who has made a sustained and meaningful contribution to the growth, development, and integrity of the equine therapies profession. This award celebrates those who go beyond their day-to-day practice to support the broader industry through leadership, advocacy, education, mentorship, or voluntary service. This award represents a dedication to the industry and the community it serves. 

    Nominees must be financial members of the ETAA.
