Beauregard Watermelon Festival 5K Run/Walk
Register today for the Beauregard Watermelon Festival 5K Run/Walk, “Running for Hope,” taking place Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 7:00 A.M. This annual event supports the Beauregard Christian Women’s Job Corps and welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Pre-registration is available through May 15, 2026, with race day registration open from 6:00–6:45 A.M. Participants can compete for awards in multiple age categories, with trophies for overall male and female winners and medals for top finishers in each division. Entry options include individual, family, and team rates, and all participants registered by the deadline are guaranteed an event t-shirt. The race will begin and end at the Beauregard Parish Fair Exhibition Hall, making it a great opportunity to come together as a community for a meaningful cause. ***Payment can be dropped off at the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce or mailed to Beauregard CWJC at PO Box 1362; DeRidder, LA 70634.

I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the event, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. All fees are nonrefundable. I grant permission to BCWJC the use of any photograph of the event for legitimate purposes.
