    ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY for Phases 1 through 3 below:

    August 7-10, 2026 - Phase 1 Intensive (in-person) in Squamish, BC

    September-October, 2026 - Phase 2 Mentorship (online)

    November 9-13, 2026 - Phase 3 Intensive (online) 5-day workshop

    December 2-6, 2026 - Whistler Film Festival + Content Summit

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS: 

    Please read the following carefully and click "I Agree & Understand" to state your agreement to these terms.

    If selected, you will pay a course tuition cost of $2,950 CDN per participant (plus 5% GST). Payment plan options available upon request. The fee is non-refundable.

    WFF is not responsible for any copyright or legal issues pertaining to the project or the applicant, but you would be required to give WFF a development credit.

    WFF holds no rights to work produced by the applicant during the Lab. However, if selected, the participant grants to the Whistler Film Festival Society the right to utilize promotional materials related to the project for promotional purposes in all mediums, including broadcast, print and internet. WFF aims to support Lab participants throughout the production process and encourages participants to provide WFF with the right of first refusal for the World Premiere of the completed film.

    Participation in the WFF Screenwriters Lab implies an understanding and acceptance of these regulations. The WFFS reserves the right to rule on cases not foreseen by these regulations.
