  • Show Schedule - June 13, starting at 2 PM; Handy Ranch, In-hand Trail, Barrels, Poles, Keyhole. Cattle Practice. June 14, starting at 8 AM. Cattle classes, Reining, Ranch Riding, Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Conformation.

     

    • Show hosted by Grant County 4-H horse exhibitors
    • Overnight pens are available and managed by the 4H, Free-will donation for pens. Please contact Jenna to reserve pens 308-458-7604.
    • Limited trailer hook-ups, 8 spots available, no reservations, first come.
    • Saturday night supper pot luck and cook-out, NEAFQHR will provide hotdogs and hamburgers.
    • Sunday concessions by Education First group to support their trip
    • Cattle practice $ per run, Herd Work and Working Cow practice times available. The cattle manager reserves the right to whistle you off a cow if determined to be needed.
    • Speed Jackpots - Class run time applies. 100 percent payout, NEAFQHR adding $100 per pot. All divisions are in the same pot. 
    • Late entries accepted, but no guarantee of available cattle
    • All breeds and Grade horses are eligible to enter any All-Breed class.
    • High Point Awards for all Divisions.
    • Only Members are eligible for Year End Awards.
    • Rule book and score sheets can be reviewed at FQHR.net
    • No dry work required for Working Cow Horse classes

  • 2026 NEAFQHR RELEASE OF LIABILITY

    Release of Liability MUST be signed by Owner as well as Every Rider/handler
  • By signing the following agreement, we understand that horses and horse related activities are inherently dangerous. We understand and agree that we are riding and handling our animals at our own risk. By signing this agreement, the undersigned expressly releases the NEAFQHR, the Grant County Fairgrounds, and the respective judges, officers, and volunteers of and from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any persons, animals or goods, which may arise from participation in any equestrian related event held by the NEAFQHR. The NEAFQHR shall not be responsible for, and shall be excused from, non—delivery of the location if non--- delivery is due to fire, flood, earthquake, elements of nature or acts of God, acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil disorders, rebellions or revolutions, or any other similar cause beyond the reasonable control of NEAFQHR. If the NEAFQHR is unable to hold the Event for any reason stated in this paragraph, NEAFQHR will NOT be required to reimburse fees paid by participants, riders or owners. NEAFQHR highly recommends the use of an approved safety helmet at all times while riding or driving a horse. Under Nebraska Law, any equine professional is not liable for any injury to or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to sections 25—21, 249 to 24—21, 253.

    I have read and fully understand the above Liability and any rules that apply to the competition and events I am participating in at the Nebraska Affiliate Foundation Quarter Horse Registry and agree to fully adhere to these guidelines and rules. I have enclosed all entry, stall fees. I understand that no stalls will be assigned without these items. I understand that this completed form MUST be filled out for me as a participant, owner, rider, driver, handler and/or competitor and a Release of Liability MUST be signed for every additional exhibitor who is riding, driving or handling my horse in ANY manner at ANY time.
