Field Trip Description:

We will participate in a program entitled "Learn to Fish." Students will listen to a presentation on trout and other fish in our community and will be able to participate in the catch-and-release portion of the field trip. Parents will assist students in preparing fishing rods and catching and releasing fish. We hope as many dads or grandfathers as possible will join us on our pre-Father’s Day field trip, but moms are most welcome if dads are unable to attend.

Siblings are not permitted on field trips.

Method of Transportation: Parent drivers

Time of Departure from school: 9:00 am

Return to school: 3:00 pm

Uniform required: Students are asked to dress in their gym strip for the day. Much of the program takes place outdoors, and we will be fishing rain or shine. Please ensure children are dressed for the weather.

Lunch: Please pack a lunch that your child can bring on the field trip

We appreciate parent volunteers to transport and chaperone our students. Please remember that a valid criminal record check is required to chaperone other people's children. We understand that some parents might prefer to only transport and chaperone their own child. Please indicate your preference below.

For insurance coverage and safety, trips must be directly to and from the school except for emergencies (i.e. no stopping for treats).

Please note that younger siblings are not permitted on field trips.

If you are not able to attend this field trip, please ensure your child brings their booster seat to school.
