• Squad Hold Request

  • This form must be completed by a parent or adult swimmer.

This form can be submitted for upcoming absences from classes of at least 2 consective full weeks (and up to 8 weeks).

Please note that scheduled training breaks do not count toward the squad hold period. For example, if a swimmer is away for 3 weeks and one of those weeks falls within a scheduled training break, the squad hold period is 2 weeks.

    REQUIREMENTS:

For planned absences, requests must be submitted at least 14 days before the absence starts. Squad hold requests for planned absences are limited to two requests per financial year (1 July - 30 June).

For medical absences, requests should be submitted as soon as possible as the squad hold will apply from the date the request is submitted. An authentic medical certificate with advice not to swim for the specified absence period needs to be uploaded below.

    FEE ADJUSTMENT:

For approved requests, squad fees are paused and a squad hold fee applies — $40 for 2–4 weeks / $80 for 5–8 weeks.
