Training and Certification - Letter to Pastors

SCHOOL OF MISSIONARY CANDIDATE TRAINING & CERTIFICATION

We are preparing for our next Training and Certification Courses to begin with Orientation on the 1st Saturday of May.  If there are ladies that you would like to recommend, please read the following information, and then completely fill out the Pastoral (or Superintendent, if District Missionary Candidate) Letter of Recommendation/Application Form BELOW.

The document is to be received no later than MARCH 30TH

There are four categories which recommendations may be made after the required years of observation of her ministering:

1. Deaconess Missionaries - been observed by her Pastor for a minimum of 2 years in ministry, saved, sanctified, and Holy Ghost filled with the evidence of speaking in tongue, and whose ministry involvement is within her local church.
2. Evangelist Missionaries - been observed by her Pastor for a minimum of 2 years as a Deaconess Missionary, qualified, and available to minister beyond the local church. Her experience and knowledge should enable her to effectively and accurately proclaim the Word of God in soul-winning crusades and wherever a door is opened.
3. National Evangelist – been observed by her pastor for a minimum of 5 years of faithful service as a licensed Evangelist Missionary serving in the Local, District and Jurisdictional levels.
4. District Missionary - been observed as faithful by her pastor and Supervisor and come through the ranks as Deaconess Missionary and Evangelist Missionary. An organizer, peacemaker, giver, and supporter of the Supervisor and Department of Women along with all leadership.

Candidate Requirements of Attendance and International Pre-Requisites - The Candidate will attend The Jurisdictional Department of Women’s School of Licensing and Credentialing to complete the full mandated Course of Study in addition both will complete the pre-requisite background check and the pre-requisite on-line Ethics Training before proceeding to the written and oral examination after the full course is completed.

1. The Deaconess Missionary Candidate will complete the Orientation and all consecutive classes before recommendation for examination. The Certification is in April at the Women’s Jurisdictional Convention.
2. The Evangelist Missionary Candidate will complete the Orientation and all consecutive classes before recommendation for examination. The Certification is in April at the Women’s Jurisdictional Convention. Please note that the Evangelist License is deferred for those Candidates with children aged nine (9) and under; however, they do qualify for Deaconess License. The Certification is in April at the Women’s Jurisdictional Convention.
3. The District Missionary Candidate will be recommended by the Superintendent and complete the Orientation and all bi-monthly classes before recommendation for examination. The Certification is in April at the WJC.
4. The National Evangelist Candidate will complete the Orientation and all bi-monthly  classes before recommendation for examination, IDOW Orientation, and certification in November at International Holy Convocation by IDOW.
   Pastor and/or Superintendent:  It is crucial that the character of those recommended follow the efforts of our International Department of Women and of this Washington State Jurisdiction. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of the Dean of Studies at Trainings@WSJWomen.org
