    At its heart is the Life Journey Parade, a simple yet meaningful procession in which each resident is accompanied step by step, reflecting the care, presence, and companionship that define life at the Ranch.

    Together, the event and the parade offer a visible reminder that every stage of life carries value, and that no one walks their path alone.

  • 🐾 Your Role as a Resident 'Mingle' Escort (Pre-Ceremony/9:45 - 10:20 a.)

    ~ Alongside your resident, mingle with guests in the reception area.
    ~ Guide guest interactions, allowing your resident to engage at their comfort level.
    ~ Be attentive to your resident’s pace, body language, and need for space.
    ~ Escort your resident back to their apartment.

    🐾 Your Role as a Parade Escort** (10:45 - 11:55p)

    • Walk alongside your assigned resident at their pace along the parade route.
    • Pause when you reach Rhonda for applause.
    • Escort the resident to their apartment.

    *Depending on the number of volunteer escorts, your team leader may ask you to complete your walk and then rotate back to escort another resident.
