I am familiar with and willing to use a dog kennel (crate), wire or molded plastic, to aid in housebreaking and training my dog - as well as to provide him with his own 'den' and safe/secure place when he cannot be directly supervised.

In terms of grooming, to keep the skin and coat healthy, a Samoyed should be groomed (bath/blowdry) about every 6-8 weeks. Regular brushing in between the baths. Are you willing to keep up with this and not let the dog get matted and felted?

We know things can change in our lives, but how likely that a dog will still be a welcome part of your family 5 - 10 years from now
