2026 OHPA State Entry Applications

To apply for the Friday Night Warmup, Singles State Championship and Doubles State Championship, please complete the information below. Once your applications are submitted, you will be redirected to make payment. Should any or all tournaments be cancelled, all monies will be refunded with the exception of convenience fees.

Friday Night Warmup Entry Fee: Fri, Sep 4, 2026 at 7pm*

Adults: $20 plus $2 convenience fee = $22.00

Juniors: $10 plus $2 convenience fee = $12.00

Singles Championship Entry Fee: Sat-Sun, Sep 5-6, 2026**

Adults: $35 plus $2 convenience fee = $37.00

Juniors: $15 plus $2 convenience fee = $17.00

Doubles Championship Entry Fee: Sat, Sep 5, 2026 at 5pm***

One Pitcher: $25 plus $2 convenience fee = $27.00

Both Pitchers (Team): $50 plus $3 convenience fee = $53.00

*Note: Limited to Six - 6 man classes; 40 shoe games; handicapped; alternate pitch

**Note: All divisions shall remain distinct and separated during preliminary scheduling. The Ohio Horseshoe Pitchers Association (OHPA) President, Executive Council, and Tournament Director reserve the right to combine pitchers from different divisions within lower classes. Integration may occur based on total participant entries, adverse weather conditions, or critical logistical constraints. The OHPA President, Executive Council, and Tournament Director retain absolute, final authority over the official pitching schedule.

***Note: Limited to first 24 teams that enter AND payment received. Teams must have combined ringer percentage of 110% or less. Entries/payments will be processed in the order received. After the deadline and having full classes, you will be placed on a waiting list. No phone calls, texts or other media please.

As a participant in the tournaments scheduled Sep 4-6, 2026, by checking the box below, I am hereby releasing and forever discharging the Ohio Horseshoe Pitchers Association (OHPA), the Darke County Horseshoe Club, the City of Greenville, the OHPA Tournament Committee, Officers, employees, directors and all fellow participants of these events from any and all illness, action, damage, loss or injury which I may suffer as a consequence of participating in these tournaments. Please water and turn your courts and pay your scorekeeper $1.00 per game.

All pitchers must have a current membership and have a ringer percentage. NHPA/OHPA rules and dress code will be enforced. Names are required on back of shirt. Check in one hour prior to pitching time. The OHPA President, Executive Council, and Tournament Director reserve the right to limit shoes due to weather and/or pitching delays. August 25, 2026 eShoe will be used for percentages. In case of cancellation, no refunds after the deadline. State entry checks will be held until the week of the State Tournament.

State Convention is Saturday, Sep 5, 2026 at 1pm or immediately following morning games. 50/50 Drawings on Saturday and Sunday (need not be present to win) Silent Auction Items donated by OHPA Officers, Darke County Horseshoe Club and OHPA members.
