The For the Love of Ryan Scholarship was created to honor the life and legacy of Ryan Webster—an 11-year-old whose selfless decision continues to save lives and inspire others to give.

In 1998, Ryan made a simple, but powerful, promise after learning about organ donation: if anything ever happened to him, he wanted to help others live. Just two weeks later, that promise became his legacy after passing away of a sudden brain aneurysm. His decision to give the gift of life through organ donation changed the lives of 7 families. This scholarship embodies Ryan’s visionary spirit of saying YES to helping others, even until his last breath.
