Scholarship Qualifications & About: 

The Future Healers Visionary Scholarship is awarded to a Texas teen who demonstrates exceptional passion, leadership, and potential in the fields of science or medicine. This scholarship recognizes young teens who are committed to making a meaningful impact in healthcare, research, or scientific innovation. Whether through academic excellence, volunteer work, or creative initiatives, applicants must embody the spirit of curiosity, compassion, and dedication to improving lives through science and medicine.

As a Future Healer, how do you envision redefining health through prevention and lifestyle while also leading with compassion and empathy? Please share your perspective on:

1.How prevention can transform the future of healthcare in your community

Application Requirements

 

Please submit a personal essay (appoximately 800 words) in PDF format. You may address all three prompts listed above, or you may focus in depth on one prompt of your choosing.  Regardless of your approach, the writing should demonstrate coherence, reflection, and strong communication skills. Please also submit a resume, transcript, or other documentation of any internships, extracurricular activites, volunteer hours, etc pertaining to your interest in healthcare.  All documents should be in PDF format and submitted through the link below.
