CODE OF CONDUCT & OPERATIONS HANDBOOK
DEFINITIONS
Cast (Micro Maidens)
The Cast refers to all performers of the Micro Maidens show. Cast members are the face of the brand and are responsible for on-stage performance, audience engagement, and representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Production Crew
The Production Crew includes all support staff responsible for operations such as setup, breakdown, merchandise sales, guest check-in, crowd control, transportation logistics, and overall show execution.
SECTION 1: GENERAL CONDUCT (ALL PERSONNEL)
· All cast and crew must conduct themselves professionally at all times.
· Respect for fellow performers, crew, venue staff, and guests is mandatory.
· Harassment, inappropriate behavior, or creating an unsafe environment will not be tolerated.
· This is a professional production—not a party environment.
Strict Boundaries
· No flirting between cast and crew.
· No being alone with members of the opposite sex at any time.
· Maintain clear, respectful, and professional interactions at all times.
Conflict & Behavior Policy
· All personnel are expected to maintain a cooperative and respectful working environment.
· If individuals are not getting along or creating tension within the group, management will intervene.
Enforcement:
· Individuals may be required to stay in a separate hotel room at their own expense.
· The cost of the room will be deducted from daily show pay.
· Repeated offenders may be sent home early at management discretion.
SECTION 2: HOTEL ETIQUETTE
Tour hotels are shared spaces and reflect directly on the company.
· Rooms must be kept clean and presentable at all times.
· All rooms must be cleaned before checkout (trash removed, belongings packed, no damage).
· Room assignments are predetermined and mandatory.
· Room assignments are not up for discussion.
· If you refuse your assigned roommate, you are responsible for paying for your own room.
· Any excessive mess, damage, or additional cleaning fees charged by the hotel will be billed directly to the responsible individual(s).
Safety Protocol (STRICT)
· A SOBER FEMALE ESCORT MUST be present when accompanying cast members to their rooms.
· This rule is non-negotiable and exists for safety and liability reasons.
· No exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
Guests Policy
· NO guests are allowed in hotel rooms under any circumstances.
· If you wish to have guests, you must get and pay for your own separate room.
· Violations of this rule will result in immediate disciplinary action.
SECTION 3: VAN & TRAVEL RULES
The tour van is a shared operational space and must be treated with respect.
Timeliness
· Be on time for every bus call.
· Failure to be on time may result in fines and fees.
· $25 late fine
Cleanliness & Responsibility
· Do NOT leave personal items in the van.
o This includes clothing, shoes, bags, food, and trash.
· All personal belongings must stay on your person at all times.
· If it is left behind, it is considered abandoned and trash.
Important Notice
· We are NOT responsible for any personal items left in the van that go missing.
Clean Environment Policy
· Trash, spills, and leftover food:
o Attract bugs
o Create unpleasant odors
o Make the environment uncomfortable for others
· You are responsible for cleaning up after yourself immediately.
SECTION 4: VENUE GUIDELINES
Professionalism at venues is non-negotiable.
· Arrive prepared and ready to work.
· Follow all venue rules and respect staff.
Cleanliness & Responsibility (CAST)
· Cast members are responsible for:
o Cleaning up all personal trash
o Leaving dressing rooms and backstage areas clean
· Consistently leaving behind trash will result in fines.
· Any trash left behind will result in a $25 fee, which will be paid directly to the individual responsible for cleaning it up.
Costumes & Props (CAST)
· Costumes and props must be:
o Properly packed
o Accounted for
o Stored appropriately after each show
· Lost, damaged, or carelessly handled items may result in penalties.
Dressing Room Rules
· Men are NOT allowed in the dressing room without asking if everyone is decent first.
· Privacy and respect are mandatory at all times.
SECTION 5: HOT SEAT PARTICIPATION & TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
Hot seat performances are considered an optional earning opportunity and are only available to performers who actively contribute to the success of the full show experience.
Any performer who wishes to participate in hot seat segments during a show is also expected to assist fellow performers by helping pull audience members for hot seat segments when it is another performer’s turn.
Hot seat participation is a team effort. Performers who repeatedly refuse, avoid, or fail to assist with pulling hot seats for others may lose the privilege of participating in hot seat performances themselves.
Management reserves the right to determine eligibility for hot seat participation based on a performer’s teamwork, cooperation, and consistency in supporting the overall show.
SECTION 6: MEDIA & CONTENT POLICY
· No professional photographers or videographers are allowed unless explicitly approved by Summer.
· Unauthorized filming or photography is strictly prohibited.
· All media rights are controlled by Micro Maidens leadership.
SECTION 7: DRESS CODE (PRODUCTION CREW)
Crew members must maintain a consistent and professional appearance.
Required attire:
· Black pants
· Black dress shirt OR
· Official Micro Maidens t-shirt or hoodie
· Micro Maidens hat
Important:
· No alterations are allowed to any Micro Maidens apparel by the crew.
· Clothing must be clean, presentable, and appropriate for a professional environment.
SECTION 8: ALCOHOL & SUBSTANCE POLICY
· Cast members: No drunkenness before the show is complete.
· Crew members: No drinking until all responsibilities (including van packing) are complete.
Enforcement:
· If you appear to be drinking or under the influence:
o There will be no warning.
o Pay will be deducted immediately.
SECTION 9: DISCIPLINARY STRUCTURE
3-Strike Policy
To maintain fairness and accountability, the following structure applies to most rule violations:
Strike 1:
· Verbal warning or immediate fine (at management discretion)
Strike 2:
· Financial penalty, role restriction, or room reassignment at the individual’s expense
Strike 3:
· Removal from tour
Important Exceptions
Certain violations will bypass the 3-strike system and may result in immediate penalties, pay deductions, or removal, including but not limited to:
· Alcohol violations
· Safety protocol violations
· Unauthorized guests in hotel rooms
· Harassment or inappropriate conduct
· Repeated lateness impacting operations
Management reserves full discretion to escalate discipline based on severity.
SECTION 10: ACCOUNTABILITY & ENFORCEMENT
· This is a zero-tolerance environment for serious violations.
· Leadership decisions are final.
· Disciplinary actions may include:
o Immediate pay deductions
o Fines and fees
o Room reassignment at personal cost
o Removal from tour
o Termination without notice
SECTION 11: PRODUCTION CREW EXPECTATIONS
Production Crew are responsible for:
· Set up and breakdown
· Merchandising
· Guest check-in
· Crowd control
· Supporting cast and maintaining operations
Crew must:
· Be proactive, alert, and reliable
· Maintain professionalism with guests at all times
· Follow leadership instructions immediately
SECTION 12: MICRO MAIDENS CAST EXPECTATIONS
Cast members are the face of the brand.
Cast must:
· Be performance-ready and on time
· Maintain professionalism on and off stage
· Respect crew, venues, and fellow cast members
· Follow all safety and conduct rules
· Maintain cleanliness in all shared spaces
· Properly manage costumes, props, and personal items
SECTION 13: HEALTH, FITNESS & INJURY POLICY
Fitness to Perform
· All cast and crew acknowledge that they are physically and mentally fit to perform the duties required of them on tour.
· Individuals confirm they are capable of:
o Performing their assigned role
o Participating in travel, setup, and show-related activities
o Handling the physical demands associated with touring
· By participating in the tour, each individual affirms that they do not have any condition that would prevent them from safely performing their responsibilities, unless previously disclosed and approved.
Personal Responsibility
· Each individual is responsible for:
o Monitoring their own physical condition
o Managing personal health needs, medications, and limitations
o Using reasonable judgment to avoid injury to themselves or others
· Participation in performances and tour activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
Injury & Illness Reporting (MANDATORY)
· All injuries, illnesses, or medical concerns must be reported IMMEDIATELY to management.
· This includes:
o On-stage injuries
o Backstage incidents
o Illness (including contagious conditions)
o Any condition that may impact performance or safety
· Failure to report an injury or illness in a timely manner may result in disciplinary action and may affect eligibility for accommodations or assistance.
No Working While Unsafe
· Individuals must not perform or participate if they are:
o Injured
o Ill
o Under the influence
o Otherwise unable to safely complete their duties
· Management reserves the right to remove any individual from performance or duties if they are deemed unfit or unsafe.
Assumption of Risk
· Tour activities may include physical performance, travel, lifting equipment, and working in dynamic environments.
· By participating, individuals acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these activities.
Medical Costs & Liability
· Individuals are responsible for their own personal medical insurance and medical expenses unless otherwise agreed in writing.
· Micro Maidens is not responsible for injuries resulting from:
o Failure to follow safety rules
o Unauthorized activities
o Horseplay, misconduct, or negligence
Safety First Policy
· Safety takes priority over performance at all times.
· No individual will be penalized for reporting an injury or choosing not to perform due to legitimate health or safety concerns.
Right to Remove from Tour
· Management reserves the right to remove any individual from tour if:
o They are physically unable to perform required duties
o They pose a risk to themselves or others
o They fail to report injuries or health issues
Removal under these circumstances may include loss of future bookings.
SECTION 14: PERSONAL PROPERTY & THEFT POLICY
· All individuals are responsible for securing and maintaining their own personal belongings at all times.
· Micro Maidens and Year Round Talent Agency are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or unattended items.
· Personal items should never be left unattended in:
o The van
o Venues
o Dressing rooms
o Hotel common areas
Theft Policy
· Theft or suspected theft of any kind will not be tolerated.
· Any individual found to be stealing, tampering with, or taking property that does not belong to them may be:
o Immediately removed from tour
o Subject to financial liability
o Reported if necessary
SECTION 15: CALL TIME POLICY
· Daily call times will be communicated via the daily schedule message.
· Call times may vary based on:
o Venue requirements
o Show size
o Travel logistics
Definition of “On Time”
· Being “on time” means:
o Fully ready, prepared, and in position at call time
o Not arriving at call time and beginning preparation
· Failure to meet call time expectations may result in fines and/or disciplinary action.
SECTION 16: COMP / FREE ENTRY POLICY
· Each individual is allowed two (2) comp tickets per show.
· Ticket type:
o Is based on availability
o May vary depending on notice given
· All comp requests must be:
o Submitted in advance
o Approved by management
· No additional unauthorized guests or free entries are permitted.
SECTION 17: SOCIAL MEDIA, BRANDING & COPYRIGHT POLICY
· All Micro Maidens content, images, videos, logos, and branding are the property of Year Round Talent Agency.
Usage Rules
· Watermarks may NOT be removed under any circumstances.
· Micro Maidens images and content may NOT be used to:
o Promote other shows
o Promote outside events
o Promote personal projects unrelated to Micro Maidens
· Use of Micro Maidens branding or likeness for:
o Printed merchandise
o Marketing materials
o External promotions
Requires prior approval from management.
Conduct Online
· Individuals may not post:
o Content that damages the brand
o Internal conflicts or complaints
o Unauthorized behind-the-scenes material
Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
Section 18: COMPETITIVE SHOW PARTICIPATION & CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Micro Maidens invests significant time, resources, and effort into building its brand, productions, marketing, and performer opportunities. As a member of the Micro Maidens team, performers are expected to avoid participating in, assisting with, promoting, or performing for any company, agency, producer, group, or individual creating or hosting coordinated group burlesque productions that directly compete with Micro Maidens.
Performers are still welcome to pursue independent bookings, personal appearances, special features, and other entertainment opportunities that do not directly compete with Micro Maidens.
If a performer is ever unsure whether an opportunity may present a conflict of interest, they are expected to communicate with management in advance for clarification before accepting the booking.
While performers are free to make their own business decisions as independent contractors, Micro Maidens also reserves the right to discontinue future bookings or working relationships with performers who choose to work with direct competitors.
SECTION 19: MERCH & CASH HANDLING POLICY
· Only designated individuals are permitted to:
o Handle merchandise sales
o Process transactions
o Manage cash or payment devices
Strict Rules
· No borrowing, using, or removing money from merch funds under any circumstances.
· All sales must be properly recorded.
· Any discrepancies may result in investigation and disciplinary action.
· All cash handling must be conducted in clear view of security cameras whenever possible to ensure transparency and protection for all parties.
SECTION 20: SAFETY & CONDUCT POLICY
No Horseplay
· Horseplay, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited in:
o Venues
o Hotels
o The van
o Backstage areas
· Behavior that creates risk of injury will result in disciplinary action.
SECTION 21: LOAD-IN / LOAD-OUT RESPONSIBILITY
· All personnel are required to participate in load-in and load-out as assigned.
Departure Rule
· Crew may not leave the venue until load-out is complete and approved by management.
· Assigned responsibilities must be completed before departure.
Failure to comply may result in fines or disciplinary action.
SECTION 22: AUTHORITY & MANAGEMENT POLICY
· The Tour Manager (Summer & Dallas) has final authority on all decisions during tour.
· The Booking Manager / DJ / MC (Dallas) supports operational and show execution decisions.
Compliance
· All instructions from management must be followed:
o Promptly
o Professionally
o Without resistance or delay
Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
SECTION 23: PERFORMANCE & ATTENDANCE POLICY
· All cast members are expected to:
o Perform as scheduled
o Fulfill all tour obligations
Failure to Perform
· Failure to:
o Show up
o Perform
o Complete responsibilities
May result in:
· Loss of pay
· Immediate replacement
· Removal from tour without notice
Additional Income Opportunities
Micro Maidens values team members who take initiative and contribute to the success and growth of the show. In addition to standard performance compensation, cast and crew members may have opportunities to earn additional income through approved responsibilities both during tour and while off tour.
During Shows / While On Tour
Additional earning opportunities may include, but are not limited to:
Selling VIP seat upgrades
Selling stage passes
Assisting with approved audience upsells and promotions
Participating in hot seat opportunities (when eligible)
Supporting merchandise sales
Assisting with other approved revenue-generating opportunities during events
Eligibility for these opportunities may depend on professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and management approval.
Off Tour / Remote Opportunities
Cast and crew members may also earn additional income by helping grow the business during off-tour periods through approved tasks such as:
Booking new venues
Building relationships with venue partners
Assisting with event outreach
Creating and posting event listings online
Helping promote upcoming events
Supporting approved administrative or growth-related projects
Compensation for off-tour opportunities may vary depending on the task, responsibilities, and results.
Micro Maidens encourages motivated team members to grow with the company and take advantage of opportunities to increase their earning potential.

This production runs on trust, discipline, and respect.
Every person on this tour plays a vital role in its success. These rules are in place to protect the team, the brand, and the experience we deliver.
If you cannot follow these guidelines, you will not remain on tour.
