The Downtown Waxhaw Association (DWA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and accredited Main Street program working to preserve, promote, and strengthen our historic downtown.
Our Board of Directors helps guide this work through leadership, advocacy, and community connection. Board members represent a mix of business owners, property owners, residents, and community leaders who care deeply about downtown and are willing to contribute their time, ideas, and perspective.
We are currently accepting applications for two board positions beginning July 1, 2026.
These positions include:
