Objectives of the Central Coast Nosework Club of California, Inc.
- To promote the common good by sponsoring activities which support the human-canine bond;
- To bring about social improvements by advancing awareness of the physical and mental health benefits derived from human interactions with canines;
- To foster deeper appreciation of canine behavior, abilities, and gifts;
- To introduce the sport of Canine Nose Work to the public and to select members of the community, for example: residents of assisted living facilities, youth enrolled in summer camps, animal welfare organization volunteers, etc.
- To sponsor social activities and to conduct sanctioned trials under the current rules and regulations of organizations bestowing titles for Canine Nose Work and Scent Detection.
In applying for membership to the CCNC, I subscribe to the Club objectives as listed above and to a code of civility and courtesy in all Club dealings.
In consideration of being granted membership in the Club, I/we hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify the CCNC, its Officers, Board of Directors, and members from any demands, court costs, attorney fees, and all other expenses incurred in the defense of any action which I may bring, or which is brought on my behalf, singularly or in conjunction with others, and against the CCNC, its Officers, Board of Directors, and members jointly or severally, and upon which I prove unsuccessful upon merits.
