Endorsement (cross-registration) Form

For endorsement/cross-registration of Irish Draught, Irish Sport Horse (min. 1/8th Irish Draught), or Irish Draught Sport Horse from recognized registries.
Horses already registered in their country of origin can be added to the Irish Draught Horse Society of Canada's registry through endorsement. IDHSC requires the original registration to be reviewed by the registration officer.

Mail original registration certificate (passport) to:

Original will be returned once verified and copied for file.
Instructions:
- A current Irish Draught Society Canada Membership is required to access registry services.
- All fees are due and payable in Canadian funds.
Fees: $80.00 (outside Canada), $70.00 (Canadian breed societies). Payment E-transfer to treasurer.idhsc@gmail.com. If membership is included, send both fees together. Payment in other currencies? Contact registrar@idhsca.com to arrange for payment through paypal.

Registration Documents
Please upload the horse's registration document as 1 pdf (please do not send multiple photos of the document - combine into one). Include any other registration documents showing the horse’s name and registration number in that registry, including Equine Canada passport if available. A blood typing or DNA testing certificate confirming relationship to both parents must be received by the Society from the testing lab before a registration certificate will be issued. Upload inspection results for Registered Irish Draught, Class 1/2/3, Appendix, Grade up Register Mare, or Approved Irish Draught Sport Horse, proof of inspection results is required. If unsure, contact the Registration Officer.
