Job Description
Seeking a baker for Rise Coffee House that likes to wake up early and craft delicious baked goods each day. This position will also include a few afternoon baking shifts to prep for the daily baking operations. Hours are M-W 4:30am-10am and 2 afternoon (flexible) from 4-7pm. Part time initially with potential for full time.
Although we want to find the right fit for this position, the ability to train right away would be ideal.
Reports to: Manager on Duty and Owner
Tasks Include:
· Opening shop
· Preparing fresh baked goods and quiche for sale that day
· Cleaning morning bake and prepping for next day
· Afternoon duties include making cookies, quick breads, scones, quiche dough, granola and more.
· Cleaning station and dishes
Qualifications:
Required
· Must be a minimum of 18 years old
· Has a love of baking, experience making a variety of baked goods and is proficient and comfortable in a kitchen
· Some restaurants or hospitality experience
· Ability to work independently and in a team setting
· Organized and able to work independently
· Prioritizes cleanliness and keeps station tidy and sanitized
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work quickly but retain attention to detail
· 2 Professional references
Desired
· Professional baking experience
· Food Handler or Manager License/willingness to get licensed
