  • RELEASE

    Being admitted to St. Basil's Altar Boy Camp, I hereby release the Order of St. Basil the Great in Canada, Altar Boy Camp Committee, Camp St. Basil, and the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Edmonton, and its representative(s) from all damages arising from any accident or injury which is caused by, or arises from participation of the applicant hereon, during any program or in any location where the program is being held.
  • DISCIPLINE POLICY

    All campers will be subject to camp rules. Abuse of camp rules, bullying and general misbehavior will not be tolerated. Should behavior warrant a problem, the Camp Program Director and Camp Team reserve the right to suspend the camper. Suspension will result in a phone call at the (parent/guardian’s) expense, requesting that you pickup your son immediately, regardless of hour. The parish priest, of the parish that you attend, will also be notified of the problem.
  • Boat/Canoe Trips

    During the course of the camp, we may make use of boats and/or canoes. To partake in these trips, life jackets are mandatory and will be supplied by the camp.
  • Archery

    During the course of the camp, we may have an outside vendor provide archery lessons to the boys.
  • Media Release

    St. Basil's Altar Boy Camp takes photos and videos of children participating in our camps for our records and for possible promotional purposes. However, we will not publish them publicly without your permission.
  • Medical Treatment

    Upon acceptance of (Camper's name) as a participant in the 2026 St. Basils Altar Boy Camp program, I accept the above Terms, without condition, and give full consent to the 2026 St. Basil's Altar Boy Camp Program to approve medical treatment and aid on behalf of my child including admission to any hospital or clinic as deemed advisable and this shall serve as sufficient authority to do so.
  • Parental Volunteers & Fees

  • Adults are encouraged to volunteer their time and are welcome to stay for the week with their children as they share their talents with those attending (kitchen, activities, crafts, etc.).

    All volunteers and staff will need to provide a police information check with Vulnerable Sector, as well as comply with the Eparchial "Working Together for Safer Environment" policy (which can be viewed at this link https://eeparchy.com/safer/).  Accommodation will be provided for those parents wishing to volunteer their time, upon approval of camp director.
