• Dare to Dream Black Girl Arts Scholarship

  • Image field 40
  • This scholarship was created by Latoya Whitfield, a native of Coffeeville, Mississippi, and the founder of A Queenpreneur’s Plan, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in Huntsville, Alabama. Growing up, Latoya dreamed of attending fashion school but was told it was not a “safe” path. Although she did not pursue a career in fashion, her passion for the arts never faded. Along her journey, she discovered her true purpose: to help others become the best versions of themselves and to operate authentically in their God-given purpose.

This scholarship is designed to inspire hope in those pursuing careers in the arts, encouraging them to Dare to Dream. It is Latoya’s goal to uplift and empower individuals from her hometown and beyond, reminding them that their purpose and creativity truly matter. Paying it forward and leading by example has always been the legacy she strives to leave.

This scholarship is valued at $500. We will pick student/students based on creativity of video.
