    Information you enter from this point onward will be shared as part of the Master List of sales unless otherwise noted.

  • Neighborhood / Area

    Sales are categorized by neighborhood. You must have a North Liberty address to be on the list.

    Not sure which neighborhood you're in? Check the map of North Liberty neighborhoods. The numbers on the map correspond with the list below. If you're inside city limits, you're in a neighborhood. 

    If you have a North Liberty address but are outside the neighborhoods on the map, choose 'Other / None of these' at the bottom.

    The citywide garage sales run Thursday–Saturday. Choose any or all of the days; your hours are up to you.

    The categories appear only in certain versions of the Master List. Your Sale Description (which you'll give us on the next page) should do the heavy lifting.

  • Garage Sale Description

    This text will be published in the master list. Get tips on writing a description, including examples, on our website.

    • Don't use ALL CAPS
    • Include specific sizes for clothing: "Boys size 8-12, Maternity S/M, Men's L-XL"

    Please, don't insert line breaks in your description (pressing the return or enter key).

    Any line breaks have to be removed manually, delaying the release of the list. 

    Emojis don't show up on the Master List spreadsheet and cause errors. Please don't use them!

  • NOTE: Please only check the "Large multi-family sale" option above if you are selling merchandise from one or more neighbors AND those neighbors are contributing 20+ items each

  • Payment

    The fee to add your garage sale to the Master List is $5.00. Our payment portal is powered by Stripe, a PCI-compliant online payment processor. Your credit card information is never stored.

  • Unable to pay by credit card?

    If you cannot pay by credit card, we can arrange for you to make a cash payment. Email us or call/text 319-244-8801 before 5 pm on Monday, June 8th to arrange cash payment. 

    Cancellation & Refund Policy

    North Liberty Garage Sale Weekend is held rain or shine. There are no refunds if you choose to cancel your sale for any reason. If you need to make changes to your sale, you can use the edit link included in your confirmation email to update your listing until the list closes on Monday, June 8th, at 7:00 PM.

      • Please double-check your credit card info. If you make a mistake or your card is declined, you'll lose all of your progress. (I know. I hate it too, but technology is disappointing sometimes.)

        If using a coupon code, you may leave the credit card information blank.

      • Before you submit...

      • A couple of things to know: 

        1. Check your email immediately after submitting for a confirmation email. It has one very important item: the link you'll need to make changes to your sale description (which you can do until the list closes at 7:00 PM June 8th). 
        2. The bank charge will show as coming from North Liberty Garage Sales, or NL Garage Sales. Please do not dispute the sale, or we may not be able to continue having the Garage Sale weekend!
