  • Montross Fall Festival Parade

     

    Our Annual Montross Fall Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, October
    3, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

    Parade line up will be at the old Washington and Lee
    High School (16380 Kings Highway).

    The parade will start to form at 1:00 PM, units will be lined up as they arrive. All entries must be in place no later than 2:30 PM. The parade will commence promtly at 3:00 PM, ending at Lyells Street.

    Entires will be able to park or continue back to the parade staging area at Old Washington and Lee High School. Westmoreland Sheriff's department personelle will be on hand to direct traffic. 

    Awards will be given out after the parade from the Judges Stand on Courthouse
    Square at apporximatly 4:00 PM.

    The units will be judged at line-up and during the parade.
    Parade participation applications must be recieved no
    later than October 1, 2026. In the interest of public safety, the Westmoreland
    County Sheriffs Department and the Town of Montross remind you
    "PLEASE DO NOT THROW CANDY OR OTHER
    OBJECTS FROM PARADE UNITS".

    In order to be judged, entries must be received by October 1, 2026.

    Applicants hereby releases, forever discharges, and holds harmless the Town or Montross and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and consulants from any responsibility, personal liability, loss and/or damage in connection with this festival.

    Applicant further agrees not to throw candy or other objects from parade unit.
